Oh man, I am so lazy when it comes to crab/lobster… but I don’t think I’m erosion of society! Lol. I just don’t think the “payoff” is worth it in that specific case. 😛

lol I agree- he’s kind of got a point in general, though his quote involves quite a bit of extrapolation.
Unrelated to the point of his quote, I do think it’s sad that many people don’t know what their food looked like “out in the wild”- not even Brussels sprouts! People only want to see filets, and prepared/processed versions of the natural thing. I look at someone in dismay when they tell me they think it is weird to get a whole fish as a dish. So what if it’s got bone and looks like the actual fish? This is how food looks!
